Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and rieCodes for the use of rieSync. By signing in you accept them and the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
rieSync is a workspace for notes, tables, tasks and a focus timer, available in a browser and installable as an app. It is offered as is, free of charge, and may change or be withdrawn at any time. We aim for it to be available and to keep your data safe, but we make no guarantee of uptime or of freedom from defects.
2. Your account
You need a Google account and must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in. One person, one account.
3. Your content
Everything you put in rieSync stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, sync it between your devices, and show it back to you. You can export it or delete it at any time from the Account menu.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- store or share content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- attempt to access another user’s data or the service’s infrastructure;
- send automated traffic that degrades the service for others;
- use the service to harass, defraud, or harm anyone.
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or threatens the service. Where practical we will say why. You may close your account at any time with Account › Delete My Account, which erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, rieCodes is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data you have not exported. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes go to the courts of the Philippines.
8. Changes
If these terms change materially, the app will ask you to accept the new version before you continue. Continued use after acceptance is agreement.
